I love your Content, Captain! One humble request though - you seem to have 4 basic sizes of WebCam feed defined in OBS , let's call them "Full Screen", "Large", "Medium" and "Small". Sometimes you use the "Small" setup when casting IIODIS and that's great, but sometimes (and in this video in particular) you opt for the "Medium" variant which takes roughly 1/4 of the screen and makes it hard to see what's going on in the game. Especially since you also comment parts that are obscured by your WebCam feed (vide 19:11). I think it would be great if you could stick with the "Small" setup... I love seeing your face and mimicry but it's equally well-visible that way and makes for a better viewing experience! Anyways - thanks for your top-quality content. I would bet, just from looking at this game, that the reason he builds his things that way is because he has lost repeatedly to baneling busts, so in our mind (us diamonds) it gets drilled into you that this is an issue, and so you begin to build things in a way that you can in no way lose to that. That doesn't make it good, but it is a fairly logical step. The professional would obviously know that by scouting, unit and map control, and those things would prevent that from working, but we aren't that good and so therefore do the simplest thing to stop it. If this was a plat game youd just see the guy getting baneling busted repeatedly lol

I honestly believe that the only way Juice would think it was the Lurker's fault enough to send this in to Harstem is somehow not seeing the destructible rocks. Tidal waving onto the Lurkers and getting wrecked to splash damage would be one thing, but being completely unable to even hit something is what gets people to cry IMBA. Secondly, why bother even mentioning the early game? They ceasefired so long the Zerg could have gone back to one base in the last attack and still maxed out by the time they fought again.

Yeah this game was a perfect example of this player having zero clue about map terrain and how army positioning works. If he went around the top again, he might have been okay (despite being behind in macro, he strangely constructed a very diverse army able to handle many compositions).

The funny thing about how he puts all his structures in the natural entrance is that it actually protects him from baneling busts and also makes a Nydus into the main pretty useless, since there’s nothing there to kill, and one force field can block access into the natural. 3000 IQ sim city if you know you’re not good enough to do scouting lol.

It's not that being old is bad, it's that we grew up with underdeveloped game systems with less graphics, slower processes and fewer buttons. These kids now have insane hand eye coordination from the new age games. I'm 39 and when I was a young squirt I played the Atari, it was 8 bit, ran at 1.2 MHz, had 128 bytes of ram and only 2 buttons (not counting directional). I think this guys building placement was actually really good, I think if you built them like they were in a different way you can make a really good strong position there against zerg, I think the tech structures being on the natural is probably a good position too as you can protect them easier but should be placed like that if you're going double forge or something along those lines, if you take another look as well at how tight he made his placements he made an alley where probes can trickle out towards the 3rd efficiently and safely and it protects the late game run byes and stuff like that, forcing zerg to headbutt against the protoss army
