Gru is the most powerful being in the universe, and here’s why: according to the height of a Minion (which is 3.5 feet on average) Gru is 4 minions tall, which means he is a godly size of 14 feet tall. Second if any of you remember the original Despicable Me, you Know there is a scene when Vector kidnaps the three girls and shoots a series of heat-seeking misses at Gru, he then dodge them all. According to the speed of an average ballistic missile (1900 mph) and the size of the missile according to his ankle size, Gru can perceive and move at such a speed that the missiles only move 9.5 miles per hour, 0.5% of their original speed. Plus after this Gru punches a shark and it is paralyzed meaning its spine is probably shattered, to remind you it would require a force greater than 3,000 newtons to fracture the spine. That’s equal to the impact created by a 500-pound car crashing into a wall at 30 miles per hour. I rest my case. Edit:didn’t steal it from SLAZO I stole it from a copy pasta but I do watch SLAZO

6:39 Considering you lead the question that there are two shapes, you exclude the possibility that there are more. Hence one should not expect to hear "one rectangle and two squares" because that sum is three.

I wonder if impossible shapes could be included in video games. Of course, tricks would be necessary in order to make the impossible shapes interactive, that is, they'd have to change shape in order to continue looking like the same impossible shape with the same impossibilities, regardless of what angle you look at it from. So then, to create sameness from different angles, you'd have to make it different from different angles. You'd also have to make use of false space, wherein moving from one position to another would put your avatar/character somewhere they shouldn't be, all to maintain the illusion of the impossible shape. This would also have to apply to projectiles and, somehow, hit-scan, if said impossible shape is put into a first person shooter. Now, with the staircase, gravity would remain consistent, which should make it somewhat easier, but with the triangle, wherein common depictions of it with a character would have the character running along it and change their direction of gravity when they run off the shorter edges, that might be a bit more complex. tl;dr: Put these shapes into custom Team Fortress 2 maps.

No, in that game, the impossible shapes would lose their shape with a change in angle, much like they would in real life. What I'm suggesting would have them keep their impossible shape.

Also, the two superposed rectangles look like that instead of one rectangle and two squares because we only see the outline of the rectangle in front where we should see a double outline if they where squares
@everless_lol
@everless_lol 6 жыл бұрын
No, if there is an outline behind the rectangle you wouldn't see "double the outline". We are assuming that in a 2d shape that the first rectangle is on top of another shape. We can't tell what the 2nd shape is. Our mind assumes it is another rectangle because the context we are given is the lines that would meet up if they continued. He explains this with the law of good continuation and the law of closure. There could be any random shape under the first rectangle and it wouldn't matter to us because it's not really there, it's a 2d shape.

I paused the video with the screen on the four circles with parts of the blue and messed around with it. I really enjoyed how if I used my arms to conceal 3 of the 4 circles on the screen, all I saw was a circle with circles in it that is partly blue. The minute I removed my arms from the screen, I started to see a blue square. The white space in between the circles appeared blue when I wasn't focusing on it. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get my mind to stop seeing it that way. If I focused hard enough comparing the white space between the color blue next to it, I could spot the difference and see that it was really white, but the minute I stopped focusing on it, I saw blue. I honestly had a lot of fun. Thank you, jake from Vsauce.
