Diesel Dave's parents played a big role in shaping the person he is today. His father, who was a mechanic, taught him the ins and outs of engines and the love for diesel trucks. Meanwhile, his mother, who was always worried about him breaking things, taught him the importance of hard work and perseverance. Despite her initial frustration with her son's love for trucks and engines, she eventually came to accept and even admire his passion. She supported him in his business endeavors and was always there for him, cheering him on as he built custom diesel trucks and appeared on "Diesel Brothers." Diesel Dave is grateful for the love and support of his parents and often cites them as his biggest influences. He learned from his father the value of hard work and attention to detail, and from his mother, the importance of perseverance and determination. Together, his parents played a crucial role in shaping the man he is today and in helping him achieve his dreams. And for that, Diesel Dave will always be thankful.

Very interesting and entertaining use of people and equipment to 'pull' this rescue off. Since @HeavyDSparks chose not to bring their Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter to the rescue, opting instead for a bunch of tracked land vehicles, I believe that @RobbyLaytonNation should consider investing in a Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion (Sikorsky S-80) HEAVY LIFT helicopter for all future heavy-weight off-road recoveries. Whiskers could have carried all the rigging gear and personal required to lift the tele-handler off the mountain and take it to the parking lot. Two pieces of equipment and six personnel. Easy in and easy out. One and DONE! Semper Gumby

Robby I just had to come over from Dave's channel to tell you that your little track bobcat with the winch mounted on the front was definitely the star of the show. Using a block and tackle to multiple your pulling power instead of trying to drag dead weight through the snow. It was painful to watch last time. Great job. 👍👍👍👍👍 New subscriber 🤝🤝🤝 Friend from Syracuse New York

Rather an unexpected good time watching your two vids on this recovery. I watched Dave's set first, and the new experience for me was viewing the recovery (an event) from two perspectives,, i.e. those of both principals and their teams, without editorial entanglement, I presume. Enjoyable entertainment. Interesting that you both took on the challenge, though I certainly don't understand the economic justification of ever attempting this recovery, other than the YT income, which would not seem to cover the fuel costs.. Though the 'fun factor' is understandable, as Robby stated. I'll be checking out more of your vids. Oh, don't buy that snocat to keep up with the Joneses. Tho I gotta admit I was impressed with how it dealt with the snow and tow situation. An apparent beast of a machine.
