Robby, you're probably going to need to replace those two soft shackles. Those tow points on the Bronco have sharp edges, and I'll bet they abraded the soft shackles pretty badly. You need to carry some steel D-ring shackles so you never have to attach soft shackles to holes with sharp edges.

It's time to pow wow with Paul, Matt and Rory and decide on a few channel setups so "Chan 1 through 6" just works when you get together. Modern FRS/GRMS radios are all programmable. Rugged should be able to help you hear each other and have privacy on a few channels.

I use to work as a mechanic in field service, and trucks had to be refueled EVERY night. I never knew where I would be sent. My boss would have had a cow if I had ran out of fuel, and I don't blame him.

Ah, the good old road down to Lower Bowns reservoir. Yea that would be a snowy mess this year. There's a pretty steep climb there on the lower 1/3 of road from the lake.

Hey Robby and Hillbilly, you should install something like backup 🤳📸 cameras but install them underneath of whiskers or the snow cat thingy , install ATLEAST 1 underneath of the snowcat and in between the tracks so you can actually stay or remain inside the cab but use the cameras to know where your (yankum) ropes are and so you don't run the rope over backing up in between each of the yanks , instead of hillbilly or the bronco owner having to pull back your slack , you could just back up centering the rope under the tracks and get a run for it then , just thought maybe that would help somewhat , or atleast I figured it looked and sounded good anyways 😃☺️ lol wish yall nothing but good luck 🤞

I've stayed in Torrey a couple of times on Vacation. It's at the intersection of Utah-24 and Utah-12. (Utah-12 is one of the best roads in Utah...) There are a *lot* of roads there that require a high-clearance 4wd, but in the snow, it must be insane, lol...

The Bronco looked to have full street air pressure in the tires when it rolled off the snow. Maybe less drag on the pull if aired down to 10psi. Air back up once off the snow.

My 895 Versatile tractor has an air ride seat to cushion the washouts in the field, but I have to admit it still bounces like crazy, when hitting a washout. It only prevents you from breaking your back.

I haven't read all of the previous comments, but I bet that Bronco has a steering angle display option. My '22 Super Duty has one, but doesn't even have the upper-level 4x4 package.
