I tried to unlock one of these doors once on ana with no points in proficency and no joke it took 27 taps per bar so 81 taps for the full lock in total that is nuts

10:07 the game treats it as however they were moving before they grabbed the ladder So if you run to the ladder and grab it straight away without stopping, you can get pinged. If you stand still then grab it you can't get pinged. Same goes for nuggets as well, that one that usually spawns at top of ladder of gas station will alert whilst you're climbing if you sprinted to the ladder, but doesn't if you crouch before grabbing it

yeah its any animation as far as I know, you can start a close encounter whilst crouching near a nugget, and it still wouldn't set it off (assuming the family member doesn't set it off)

I think you have to be crouching then interact while crouched to not be pinged

@mehmeh3745 Not necessarily. One can stay still without crouching and can also fast crouch walk. One action will get you pinged. The other would not. It's based solely on the crouch imo but players should test themselves to confirm that

I managed to build my cook into a "3 hit" cook...a victim could have full health if I literally get 3 swings that's ggs for me😂...idk if it's a bug or right perk combination but I haven't changed my cooks loadout ever since

While I don't doubt that the lock perks are good, in my experience when victims open gates it's because nobody checks it at all so the increased time wouldn't make any significant difference. I prefer winning close encounters with Suffocating Grip, which happens at least once in most of my matches - usually when the Julie tries to get Choose Fight value despite the fact that she can't get Grappler.

your 27 hours of experience doesn't make you an authority on subject - it just shows your ignorance. security pins makes a huge difference. it essentially relegates players with no proficiency to only 2 exits, and if family is rotating properly connie will have to use her ability or that door/gate isn't opening. on family house, security pins means that if they don't jump out of the front window the only exit they have is fuse. so, because of security pins, 4 possible exits is reduced to 1.

Any good cook player knows thats a waste of a lock thats what Hitch is for. Padlock on the fuse means 1 less padlock on gen/battery & people will easily go for valve for the distraction

Security Pins is pure garbage atm due to bugs. All locks are garbage to be honest. And Victims are running around with multiple 50 stats due to the Endurance bug Victims are enjoying at the moment. Sounds like a skill issue. With all the bugs & victim this victim that its still very easy to wipe the floor & 9/10 only have 1 person escape. Not everyone is running 50prof bcuz u dont need 50. Only 3 people have horrible endurance Ana, Connie & Danny
