Impressive 3x 2007 Toshiba Observation Lifts @ Pacific Place Shopping Centre, Jakarta, Indonesia

The shaft of these lifts have now been covered by a massive multimedia display. This makes the lift more friendly to those who have a fear of heights.
This mall has the tallest ceiling height I know of (at least 3 meters per floor) which gives the illusion that the lift is slower than it actually is if one was to look up into the shaft ( the lifts go at a speed of at least 1,5m/s). These lifts are usually manned by attendants but I was lucky enough to document these lifts as I came before the shopping center’s opening hours where the attendant’s shifts have not yet started.

That eyesore massive multimedia screen looks horribly hideous. Just hideous. I really hate this trend of installing gigantic eyesore screens everywhere.

all this was probably done because of Louis Vuitton’s temporary relocation to the atrium
