Ramanathapuram CS Murugabhoopathy was a legend in his own right. He accompanied legends like MS AMMA and Balamuralikrishna. But he was not properly glorified by Music Academy due to caste chauvinism. Tamil Isai Sangam, Chennai only honoured him with Isai Perararignar title. He was a constant accompanist of Madurai Somu.
