I know the focus is on the bulk carrier but that vertical lift is a great piece of design. It’s nice to see one working as my local bridge has been clamped shut and will never work again.

the "bull nose" is less efficient, but gives the ship more cargo hauling space. The inefficiency is offset by the profit on the larger cargo capacity, I hear.
