I like how a lot of these great gospel pianists talk about what they're doing, but dont really say what they're doing. Quennel dodges by saying "I love the Lord" over and over why using jazz and 20th century classical techniques heavily in their music. They are not going to give you their hard earned knowledge for free so stop asking an just study jazz and classical theory and harmony while listening a lot.
