Very informative and nicely made. And finally someone who talks in a quiet and unexcited way, rather than loughing all the time and shouting at listeners as if it was an advertisement.

I love this channel and I am still getting to grips with iso settings and stuff, filters etc. I think we all develop our own techniques eventually and I'm excited to progress as time goes on to get better and smoother shots. Many thanks to everyone that has put their experience out there as it is helping a lot.

Thanks for the time you put into shooting the video plus walking us through your process. One thing that would be very helpful is to see the videos with/without the effects that you are applying. Whether you do this one in front of another or place the videos side by side is up to you. To take it a step further, it would be fun to see a concatenation of the original raw video followed immediately by each individual effect/edit you add one effect at a time. 10 seconds of the raw footage, followed by 10 seconds showing the same footage that has been cropped/zoomed, followed by same 10 seconds with light adjustment, then same 10 seconds with color adjustments, then same 10 seconds with motion blur...you get the idea. It shows the additive effect of your every step in post production. Again, thanks for taking the time to share and teach! Jim

wow you are amazing with a video editor. I've done some small projects with friends with low quality cameras and I'm amazed how well you can make your images look in post.

Thank you for taking the time to make a video like this! Very easy to follow and extremely helpful. Your work is incredible and not overstated. I have my pen and notepad out... now I need some dry weather to go fly around in.

One question, could you maybe do a more in depth tutorial on adding motion blur in after effects please? Not something I've considered and seems like it makes all the difference!

Matteo Garzi the Phantom 4 Pro has a slightly better camera than the inspire 1, we have 3 P4Ps and they are goergeous, ISO 800 totaly usable if a bit of light is available!

thanks for these great videos and tutorials, although I don't 100% agree with you on using ND filters, I successfully use and like the results with the polarpro cinema series filters on my phantom 3, there is a difference and I can use my drone on a brighter day, or where is much, much light, like snow, or midday and above water with the polar/nd combo, not to mention that in this case I can use lower shutters sped in order to obtain smother caption, because on videos it's not in like photography, where the photos need to be as sharp, as possible, so for me works better these filters, than the standard factory UV filter... :)

How did you make a horizon line in premiere pro?
@weused2bestoned8 жыл бұрын
just cheat and make a .png image in paint with a straight red line.. add in on top of footage and crop as needed. Probably a better way on the program itself but that would do the job and save me having to look online to find out how to do it haha

is inspire 1 an entry level drone??
@MakingWavesRF8 жыл бұрын
If you have $3k. Otherwise I recommend buying a $50 drone on Amazon to learn the basics. You can buy 3 cheap drones for the cost of 1 battery for the inspire 1.
@JohnDouqh8 жыл бұрын
No, it is not an entry level drone. It is kinda halfway between a high end hobby drone and a professional filming drone. The phantom series and now the mavic would be DJI's low end drones but as Daniel Said buy a cheap toy for $50 and play with that, learn the sticks and learn about the drone you want first.
