"Really think about what I want to convey..." I'm pretty fascinated with serenity, and you conveyed that beautifully! This world is so stressful sometimes, I want to remind people what peace feels like.

I'm a hobbyist photographer and that opened my eyes on how images are "manipulated" compared to "live" shots. This video did the same for me for videography. Thank you!

Thanks for this, and for thinking of others. You don't have your hand out looking for cash, you're doing it to help others and that is recognized and appreciated! Danke!

Just finished the whole video tutorial. Excellent! I took notice when you nove forward through the tree canopy in the beginning, on the running path, that the angle afterwards slowly diminishes the running path to the grass on the left then upward to the sky in a fluid motion. That is what I see. Your observations of all the surrounding shapes, angles and color give your talent and videos life. Good stuff.

10-second rule... Game changer for me. I have been SO guilty of this. I think the shot is crap, but then I get in post and it wasn't crap at all...but ruined by stopping. I am employing the 10 second rule starting today. Thank you! Subscribed.

Just watched the first minute of tit excellent video tutorial. I am speechless. Even after the 2 years since this had been uploaded it completely took my observance level to the next level. When the drone flew over the house and the mountains came into view in the deep backdrop, I can still see the purple and orange in them as I am writing this. Your talent for this is beyond words. This is no smoke blowing or apple polishing. Words are not enough. I will definitely enjoy the rest of this video.

I started up with the DJI Phantom 1 and a GoPro and if I have had more than 1000$ back then I would have bought something more expensive, but today, I think that with a drone and a gimbal, some passion, training and creativity, one can take every shot he wants to get. Surely, the higher the price of the drone, the less work you have optimizing everything on it, but if you are willing to put work and passion in such a project, you can do anything even without much money. That's what I learned by now.

You're so right in regards to not giving up on a shot. Several times in post edit I have thought to myself, "No keep going! Why did I stop!?".😅 Nice video.

Hi there I'd just like to say that you really gave some great advice. This video is very informative! Thanks for reminding me of the 10 sec rule also. Seems that I so often forget about it once I'm actually up in the air shooting. Then during editing I say to myself "darn it if only this shot were a bit longer haha!!!" Beautiful work here, and over all an absolute amazing video! Thank you, Greg.

1:11 is some really great editing because there is no possibility whatsoever a near-half moon would be close to the horizon at or near a sunrise or sunset. It is either high in the sky or has not yet appeared. Props for the editing while exposing myself as a scientific purist.
