After every change in the position of the leash, I would still have to manually lock the rear part, I would not do anything in a whole day and the work would be very annoying. I have a solution on my saw that by pressing the locking lever on the front of the saw, the rear part is also locked at the same time. Only such a solution makes sense and then the work is fun.

Your video did help....in fact other than adding the metal tube fence to your shorter version I had thought to try the toggle clamp on my original fence...what I dont like about the original fence is it's moving at the far end, but also it doesn't clamp at the close end with alignment to the blade...so a "T" modification is what I'm hoping can make up.... Your video gave me another way to go using a steel fence....toggle on the end....good idea!

How did you secure the wood for the toggle clamp in the end of the box section

So I did it. And added some plywood cover ing to save the blade.

God yes i needed this. Every cut with it sucks and deflection is nearly 3mm and table is all ways wonky on the end... sure i knew this when i got it but i'l be bolting on even probably aluminum plate top of the original to get it straight enough for hobbyist standards.

I replaced the fence on my table saw one but later read that the fence shouldn't extend past the blades centre so that the wood can't trap the blade if it opens after being cut, so I added a piece of sacrificial ply on the blade side of the fence, finishing at the centre line of the blade.

How about fitting a sticky backed tape measure on the back to confirm your guide is true 👍 love the tip 😉

Thanks, any local steel stockist or online distributors, some will even cut to your requested size if required.

Found this and the first video Part 1 to be the best reviews I've seen for this saw. I've bought one, and the fence is the only real issue with it, most poor reviews seem to want a lot more for the money - mine cost me £95 from Toolstation, so I'm happy with that but I have no metal work skills or tools so I can't make the metal fence unfortunately. Mick, do you make things for sale? If you do, I'd be interested in buying an identical fence with the little clamp on the end from you (never seen one of those before - another learning curve!) not to worry if you don't but it looks a perfect solution. Thanks again for the video.

Aluminium would have been my second choice as wanted to create a more weighty solid feel to the fence.
