Improve ANY Architecture Photo with A.I. - How To Make Your Own Luminar AI Editing Preset

In this photo editing tutorial I'll share my settings for creating a generic preset that we can use to enhance ANY architectural or real estate photo. Yes ANY photo - when we make the preset right. The preset is applied to our photos that have had basic adjustments and retouching already done. The preset applies the polish.
We'll focus on incorporating Luminar's A.I. tools to give our photo edits a little more impact, and adding tools that we normally apply in Photoshop or other editor over and over again.
So for example if you sharpen every photo, why not automate it through Luminar and apply it in bulk. Add a little more contrast to your pictures through a curve layer? Why not build it into your preset? It's such an easy approach to quickly batch improving your photos.

It can deal to colour spill from lamps etc and can be used to minimize reflections too. However, it would be in more traditional ways similar to Photoshop rather than specific tools.

Many thanks for sharing the preset settings! I agree small adjustments are key to achieving the desired results. Is there a way to replicate the same in Luminar Neo? I wish to incorporate the enhancement however, cannot find a way to reduce the overall effect.

Hi Tamas, currently there's no slider to reduce the whole effect in NEO. I'd recommend just build the preset with say 50-80% of the amounts I showed here. I feel if I redid this video I'd probably do that anyway. Ideally we want it to work without having to reduce it anyway.

You do a fantastic job of explaining your process. My question is how did you process the image before this for lens distortion. Are you able to bring these images in as raw files? (after lens correction?) What program are you using for lens correction? Does Luminar AI do that for you? I have never used Luminar AI for my Architectural work. Thanks. New follower!

Thanks Ed. I use LR for the preprocessing - lens correction, verticals etc. however Luminar AI can do this too. I cover the Lightroom side of things in other videos on the channel. Thanks for watching.

How do I get some of your presets? I did order the Lum Ai with your code as well. Love the program, just figuring out if the merge feature is better in Neo or if I should stick to Enfuse or Photmatix.

Hi Sherry. I definitely prefer the HDR in Neo as it's based on the Aurora engine. IMHO way better than photomatix for accurate architectural work. Enfuse I'm not sure about sorry. Re presets, I'm yet to put any together for distribution. It's something I may do in the future though.

Thanks for all your KZbin videos on editing in general, Luminar Neo in particular. However I am having a strange problem at the moment in editing my Nikon Z9 images in Luminar Neo. It does not work on my raw data from Nikon but will work if pre edited in Lightroom and subsequently complete the editing in Luminar Neo latest version. Can you help with finding solution to this issue. Strange, the problem doesn't exist using data from Nikon D5 and D6. Thanking you in anticipation of your help. Read more Read more

Hi Kareem. Are you saving to dng in Lightroom as part of your workflow? This will (should) bake in the necessary profile for Neo to recognise the file.
