This is gold. You've explained a lot of proper downswing concepts.

Nice lesson you two ,for me to make a little correction about my right shoulder over rotation to make me loose my posture. Kerrod Gray you have the most natural easy swing and the ball go to distance. Thank you guys.

Possibly the best release drill ever. It promotes that beautiful 45 degree tilt you see in all the top players. If you execute this properly you can't help but gain greater compression. This is due too all the weight being on the left leg at impact. At this juncture the right leg is nothing more than a prop. It's a simple way to create the proper rotation at impact without forcing it into positions as weekend hackers do. With a proper combination of swing drills, a player can FEEL the movements so that the become REAL. You work with Alex Riggs is cutting edge.

excellent video; Kathy Whitworth's key move was to shift into ball of left foot-from there its all good. Whitworth won 88 times

Another great aspect of this drill is the extra flare of the left foot. By extra flaring of the feet the hips extend to the left side more easily. With a strong backswing coupled with that flare things happen more naturally. Great stuff!

The concept of the clubface slightly open at "contact " which squares just after "bottom if the swing", is hard to grasp it taken me 6months to get, but it works has been frustrating my coach his comment always us he says " trust the process"... cheers good stuff

Kerrod, the right foot bowling ball feel is confusing .. I can’t get my mind around that move while shifting to my lead side and clearing my lead hip….can you explain in more detail

That move you were doing with your right foot towards the end of the video is exactly what Scottie Sheffler does during his normal swing

Rotate your upper body fully through in the down swing. The legs are just supporting that rotation. The head stays still as tbe center. That's why you get that c shape spine angle during the impact.

Many low handicap and pro players even start the hips and shifting into the front leg, before the end of the backswing.

Awesome video guys…it’s a shame that someone always has to bring politics into the fold.
@shawnkirkpatrick9062 жыл бұрын
Can you really control all these movements in the downswing in half a second? Seems highly unlikely. The only thing you can actually control is how you start your swing imho. If your turn in the backswing is actually “functional” you won’t be able to control these micro movements in the downswing. Paralysis by analysis.

I don’t know how you got out of this video that Trump brainwashed them. Just because they are at a Trump course does not even mean they support him. They aren’t mutually exclusive. If you’re the type to make those kind of assumptions based on a very weak connection, then they probably would prefer you not to support them anyway. By the way…I’m not a Trump fan either, but it’s people like you who make us look like a bunch of idiots.
