Loved the longer format. Especially since it was fast paced and showed lots of detail without the need to dwell on anything that could be inferred from that presented. Large detailed job take time 👍😎👍

Thanks for the feedback! You are right - all of the details add up to more time, in both the job and the video.

I worked several jobs during my summers in HS and college. Fortunately I had the foresight of “apprentice” in several unrelated industries. Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing My last year in college I was working at a workshop that used to make furniture for museums. I was learning Autocad 10 and had knowledge (very limited) of machining and welding due to the courses of “manufacturing process” in college. So my boss sent me to help the guy who fabricated all the metal parts of the furniture; in other words I passed from cabinet maker to fabricator. At that time the cold saws were a luxury even for successful shops. Anyway, I still remember the face of my “new” boss when I impressed a table like this. It’s the obvious solution for cutting wood, why not for cutting steel? He asked, because it’s easier to bundle bars or rods and chop them together. Yes, and this way you only measure once without looking for a measuring tape.
