My age is 75. Yes I will follow it. Thanks. About 4 years back I fell down and my lower Jaws broken into 3 pieces and steel plate was inserted in mouth. After full anesthia for 5 hours I was saved but I lost my balance.

It's only been a few weeks of this daily exercise & I am already showing improvement :)

I have benefited hugely from this over the last few months. I started out being all over the place, no co-ordination, persevered and now I have good balance. The 5 minutes is the attraction for me. I've never been inside a gym, I much prefer this form of keeping fit. Julia has a lovely soothing voice.

I have had numerous falls that occurred without notice. I had trained in the martial art of Zen sword for seven years earlier. I had slacked off a bit due to a lack of space. I am at the stage where I need to rebuild myself. Simple exercises like these are efficient and useful. Thank you for the newly opened door.

Yeow! I just tried this. I held the one-leg lift for barely 3 seconds (and that was edgy), made 10 attempts, each leg. How pathetic! But I at least made the atttempt. I'll be 79 in August, and what balance I have has deteriorated. This is now a 7 year-old vid as I type this - but thank you, Julie. Oh, and the chapter stamps are most helpful.

Excellent video! I'm a proponent of bodyweight exercises and walking. Having a strong core and strong lower body muscles will aid in our ability to keep maintain balance. The more we move our bodies, the healthier we are. Average walking speed studies show that an older person’s pace, along with their age and gender, can predict their life expectancy just as well as the complex battery of other health indicators such as blood pressure, body mass index, chronic conditions, and smoking history.
Thank for an excellent presentation. Renu Roy from Germany.
