👉There are 3 main areas where you can improve to make your breathing better when climbing those mountain
1- Lungs! Making the oxygen get to the bloodstream!
2- Muscle Efficiency- getting the endurance of your muscles better and more accustom to the demands
3- Body Efficiency!!
In this video - We are going to look into upper body efficiency!!

Very helpful. I confirmed that it is still a little challenging to externally rotate my right arm. Recently learned the clavicle is the only (tiny) bone that connects the arm to the trunk. Mind blown!

Helpful. Yes to lower body, and thoracic extension. I have great shoulder ROM but can’t flex my shoulders enough to get arm to ear.

I expected to have more difficulty with my rom in my left shoulder, as I tore that rotator cuff several years ago, but I guess my hard work riding and McGill core exercises are paying off. I am pretty sure that my neck pain is a bike fit issue (bars/sweep), which I will address asap, because, I don't notice it after climbing, just all the time. (Doing too many drops hurts my shoulder, too, lol.)
