At least one word in Polish and English sounds and spells the same tuba is simply tuba. The funny thing is that no online dictionary can find a translation of this word. I am also about to start learning Spanish, but I want to learn Spanish from books designed for English speakers. I wonder if I could learn two languages at the same time. I have already ordered a Spanish-English picture dictionary and a grammar book. Thank you Joseph, brilliant as always.

Sergiusz, Thank you for your kind remarks. I cannot remark on books for learning Spanish per se. I will tell you my sources which worked amazingly well. Dreaming Spanish. Pablo Román created this amazing website with over 5000 videos. He has posted 900 videos on KZbin for free. He has a lot of content creators. I wanted my accent influence to be from Spain, so my first 1000 hours were from speakers from Spain. Now I use all. His site tracks hours. My second resource is Juan Fernandez who produces Español con Juan, both podcast and KZbin. That plus audiobooks and other native content is how I learned Spanish. 2000+ hours of input over the past two years. The only books I have are literature. I started with El Principito. Thank you.

You are most welcome. I just made video number 190 to be published tomorrow. KZbin is amazing to me because I can store my library of videos long term for people to use for content. People often watch a video several times and understand the language more with each pass. It is thrilling that people find value in my work and are making use of this video library. Welcome to our community. Thank you for writing. Your support is very helpful and appreciated. If you don't mind saying, from where are you writing?

Hi teacher !!! Yes!! I always notice the changes in the mantel, yesterday you had a kerosene lamp and today there is an electrical one. Thanks so much for your stories . I have learned and enjoyed listening to your videos. I was wondering about the difference between looking forward to something and waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the difference between final countdown and to be coming down to the wire.
