I appreciate the breakdown of the importance of the kick in triathlon. It’s definitely something I overlooked before.

The most useful and overlooked drills would be the side kick and the vertical flutter kick drills. Once I mastered them, my swim time started improving by leaps and bounds over a matter of weeks. Thanks for this great video. 👍. Keep up the good work 👍

I've heard a lot of great trainers say"the thing i look for in swimmers is good kicks." And kicking is some of the most important stuff in theier main sets.

There's a clip on youtube of Michael Phelps doing vertical dolphin kick whilst holding a 10kg medicine ball over head. So you could watch that if you ever want to feel hopelessly inadequate as a swimmer/kicker or something :d

I’ve always thought that I was doing the kicks correctly until I took a video of myself. It turns out that Im frog kicking. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I get savage cramp in my inner thighs after about an hr of swimmimg. I eat bananas drink electrolytes and take magnesium. Anyone got a remedy ?🏊‍♂️

try a salt tablet or putting salt in water

Try Dioralyte drink mix, get it in chemist's. Very good for cramp👍
