Most glove saves are a result of the puck just hitting the glove not actually moving the glove in the path of of the puck. So it's a position/reaction thing. Doesn't matter whether it's old school down on your side or new school up out in front of you.

I’m a 64 year old goalie , that use to play standup style , but now more of a hybrid butterfly style . Iam relearning having my glove up high , and man does it ever help with catching more pucks. So very good tips here , thank you
