In this GoPro tutorial I am showing you essentials tips you need to know to make cinematic travel videos!
Storytelling is a very important factor to make your GoPro (Hero 9) travel videos look most cinematic. And it is actually very simple to tell a story in your travel videos if you shoot short vlog parts with your GoPro (Hero 9). But how do you create a story with a drone, where you can't talk to the camera?
To create a story for your GoPro (Hero 9) with your drone you need to film a lot of clips with different perspectives. By using these different drone perspectives you can start creating a story in your GoPro travel video together with your GoPro (Hero 9) clips.
Then another way to create more suspense and a better story in your GoPro (Hero 9) travel videos is using transitions. My travel video tip here is that you should plan your transitions already while shooting your GoPro (Hero 9) and drone shots. Transitions not only help you to transition from one clip to another, they also help to proceed in your story in your GoPro travel video.
And lastly, take too many GoPro (Hero 9) shots. If you can't plan your GoPro travel video in advance you need to create the whole story in the edit, so you just need a certain flexibility editing your GoPro (Hero 9) travel video. And the more GoPro (Hero 9) shots you have, the more flexible you are creating a story in your GoPro (Hero 9) travel video!

I’ve been using the GoPro app to edit using my phone, with a combination of hero8 and iPhone11 footage. With a bit of music thrown in I’ve got some good results! Alas not many views , but no worries.
