It is kinda weird but when we were kids, we use to draw outside in ( drawing outline first) as we grow we adapt inside out technique

I followed another one of your tutorials yesterday, the 4 faces with different angles that you posted recently. Nice practice. Looking back on my old sketches, I like that one that I followed, the three guys drawn with a brush pen. Maybe it’s because of the purple background that attracts me, or maybe the different line widths?? I don’t know. Would you do portraits with a brush pen, or do you think the lines would be too wide?? I could experiment myself but just curious what you would do.

portraits with brush can be really nice. I’ve done a few older videos using it if you want to check them out. my technique has changed since then so I only use the brush pen occasionally now but you never know!😊
