After many months of struggles with comfort on my Meta Quest Pro, I have finally found a fix, which costs next to nothing and takes 2 minutes to do yourself at home. Here's how I did it!

@@VRManCave Loving the pro, thank you..Got the Glob Cluster mod in the end from Amazon UK, with VR Lenses, and a nose comfort mod I discovered fast head movement possible, without the headset moving and clunking the nose. Your vid was very helpful. The initial QPro on its own is so uncomfortable, and I did get headaches after each use until my comfort mod arrived. It's also an outstanding headset for build and quality. Once it fits right it's the best on the market, imho.

i did a side strap because after a short while the front of my head would start to ache, not a problem with the quest 3 and bobo vr headstrap, but is with the pro. I did try inverting the back cussion, but found for me with some games the pro would be less secure on my head, so moved it back, I initially inverted it to velcro a battery to the back. now I have a battery velcro to the back of it anyway. something I'd probably add if doing it your way is a bottom strap like what they have on helmets. just for those action games where you are moving around a lot.

Bought a cheap q2 bobo strap Gunna give tgis a go. Even tho quest pro isnt worst in comfort

It really depends on the person’s head shape. For me it was awful for anything more than 15 minutes, but the top strap makes a world of difference. Honestly don’t understand what’s taking accessories companies this long to come up with something 😄

Hey Yashraj! For Quest 2 there are lots of very good price-quality headstraps and comfort options. I have lots of other vids on the channel showing these. The Quest Pro sadly doesn’t have any yet so that’s why I had to make it myself 😄

The reversed cushion on the back is so weird. Why did they not made it like that from the start?

I have no idea dude, I'm just glad the clamps are even reversible. I guess the idea was to support the weight from the bottom of your head, and many say it's excellent for them out of the box, but it just never was for me and my head shape, which I would have thought is pretty average 🤣

@@VRManCave i had to turn it back around because it wouldn't charge on the dock. It puts the headset on an angle where the pins disconnect.

​@Dindonmasker just fold a microfiber cloth (or anything foldable) and slide it under the back half of the charging doc so it too has a tilt to accommodate the new charging angle.

I think you can buy third party ones. Might also be worth contacting Support and seeing if they might be able to send you an original replacement.

Haha sorry about that, didn’t want to make it too boring by showing everything uncut. I think the video + audio explanation of what I’m doing should provide enough to figure it out, it’s nothing crazy, just basically wrapping things around the headset to provide mounting points for the top strap.
