Another really helpful guide, although smashing at a picture of the missus is a bit dodgy 😆 Best of luck in the China Masters this week. Tough first round draw, just give it your best.

Hey Greg, what Victor racket do you recommend for brokies like me?
@thomasbarnes73946 сағат бұрын
I guess it comes into the placement point, but one of the biggest things I worked on with my smash was the angle. Again, I have taken off a little power, but the team defending finds it much harder to counter attack if the shuttle is coming below their hip.

Thank you for this video! It really helped me improve my technique, if I may ask a question, I started playing badmiton about 2 months ago, and I feel like I'm rapidly improving, and I really enjoy the sport. I am learning badminton twice per week, in one-hour sessions. Although I learn some things, I feel like I'm not learning enough and want to make it my full-time career, by moving to China and learning it to become a professional badminton player (my goal is to go to official tournaments such as world tours or even the olympics). I understand the physical demandness and the competitiveness of the sport. Could you guys please give me some insight on what I should do? Should I quit my dream, is it too late, could I fulfill my dream? Many thanks.

I have a doubt for the past many years After lifting which is the right place stand , is it base position or little bit back side from the base And if the opponent played a deceptive drop from that lift how to take that drop And if they played smash from that lift how to defend that and if they played clear to long back how the take that Please put any videos related to this

I find that I'm much more likely to play a good (timed) smash if moving backwards, especially towards the round-the-head. If I'm able to get right under the shuttle, it seems I always mistime it. What could I be missing?
@BadmintonInsight2 сағат бұрын
Many people prefer the round the head side as it forces you to rotate more. It’s hard to know without seeing it!
