The main use of this contraption method again is for those who have "crazy feet" that always spin out or slide around no matter how hard you try to squat with excellent form. I've linked 3 blogs above that Chad and I wrote together that explain in detail the step by stop protocol for using these if you guys are interested. As always let me know if you have any questions or comment with what you'd like to see in any future videos!

The dumbbell between the heels is genius. I’ve used outside plates to block my toes before but never an interior heel blocker. I have sometimes noticed my feet turning significantly outwards depending on my stance width. Usually the wider I go the wider my toes go. But I mostly assumed it was due to my hip socket and head of my femurs lacking mobility. I’ve found that the mental image of corkscrewing my feet into the ground helps a lot with this problem too. As does mentally spreading the floor with the feet. I’m a pretty experienced squatter but I still enjoy seeing new ideas like this.

This must feel weird, but I guess this will also help with actually feeling what a stable squat feels like.

Thanks for the content. Do you have a list of resistant exercises which also include stretching? Chest flys stretch the pecs, cable pull through stretch the hamstrings etc. I’m searching for more exercises like these as they are highly effective

A very long time ago I read somewhere that when your low back breaks form (tailbone tucks under) like it did when you went all the way down it may actually cause low back problems in the future. Would you please comment on that ? (I hope I described that correctly, English is a second language to me)
@paulinaramirez42023 жыл бұрын
He have talked about it, it's called butt wink, if that's what you mean.

Does this contradict your previous video on people who need to have a wider stance due to their hip socket genetics being deeper verse shallow hip sockets? I’m confused as to what’s better. I prefer a wider than shoulder stance, but this guy says he aims to get people a shoulder stance for squats. 🤔

Good question - I think the idea behind this is to help work on more so mobility (as I always try to say understand your anatomy but also know that most have not reached their max potential with mobility work). Now yes there will always be some with anatomy that this will just be way too advanced for - so this drill isn’t for everyone.
