Tbh phrasal verbs are my pet peeve but lo and behold English Speakers seem to hold them in great esteem 😂 I have no tiny choice then except learning them although my brain's about to give up because of them😂 Thanks Kevin, looking forward to learning more with you

"Drop by" and "show up" are similar in that they both involve arriving at a location, but there are nuanced differences: 1. **Drop by:** This implies a casual visit or a brief stop without a specific plan or appointment. It suggests informality and often involves a short duration. *Example: I'll drop by your office later to discuss the project.* 2. **Show up:** This suggests appearing at a place, often with a sense of purpose or intention. It might imply a planned or expected presence. *Example: I didn't expect him to show up at the party unannounced.* In summary, "drop by" emphasizes informality and spontaneity, while "show up" can imply a more intentional or expected arrival.
