Excellent video and exercise. I'm thinking maybe there is a way to do it for someone who isn't strong enough to get on the floor yet?

@@AdaptToPerform That would be awesome, thank you! On a related side note there must be a way to make a short pair of parallel bars that a wheelchair can fit through for the person to practice these kind of things. Mainly a homemade setup that doesn't cost a arm and a leg.

There's parallel bars out there that are fairly inexpensive. But the height is often too high, definitely something a friend who's either good with metal or wood could make 👍

@@AdaptToPerform I will keep looking. The one's I've come across are $700 and up.

Just had a look and I've found some. If you type in mirafit parallel dip bars. They're £50 ish

@@AdaptToPerform Hi Ben Clark, how are you doing today? Excellent video and excellent exercise. Transferring from the wheelchair to the bed, chair and onto the floor isn’t easy. Lift yourself back up and down by pushing your body up. Working your way up with progression. Nice to see you on the video. Hope you O.K. Start lower and work your way up. Strength with your need by lifting yourself up. Practise makes perfect. Very good information Ben!!! Kind regards, from, PaulLaw.

Question For you. How much triceps strength did you have right after your injury? I have full use of my left side but only have my lateral head on my right side but I stim every other day, Hoping to get some more strength back into it. I’m 15 months out from Injury and have in the past week just started to pivot transfer!Love your videos. They inspire me to be able to move around independently on my bed one day :-)

I have what I have now from 4 weeks after my injury. I just strengthened what I do have 😊

@@AdaptToPerform Hi Ben Clark, how are you doing? It’s good that you can try to move independently from your wheelchair. Keep practising your exercise and your walking everyday. Kind regards, from, PaulLaw.
