Wow. Once again you showed quite a lot of Inkscape capability I didn't realise existed. I really appreciate your sharing of such knowledge. Thanks!

Once again I learned more about a topic than I expected. It's always worth watching the "Sweater Cat designs" videos thoroughly and until the end. I'm lucky to have found this channel! 🤩

Am glad you found this feature helpful my part was designing 2 sets :Asian and nature patterns, and kudos to the developer Mike and Adam that designed much of the other sets and the rest of the team for so much hard work

Maybe it’s obvious but can you save the new pattern?
@SweaterCatDesigns Жыл бұрын
The easiest way would be to just create all of your custom patterns in a single document and save the document as something like "patterns.svg." Then when you want to use one of the patterns in a different document, you can first open up patterns.svg, create an object inside it and apply the pattern to it, then copy and paste the object into the other document. The other document will then also have the pattern inside it, so you'll be free to delete the object and close out of patterns.svg. It's also possible to make it so your patterns will always appear inside the pattern editor by default, but it's a bit more complicated. I'll see if I can make a video about both methods.

Sorry if I missed something, but how can you create a seamless pattern tile from the existing inkscape pattern?

Awesome video thank you! I understand it's possible to add texture to text in inscape, do you know if it's possible to make a pattern then apply that pattern to a string of text?
@SweaterCatDesigns7 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yep, just select the text object and click the Pattern Fill button and it should apply the pattern to it.
