That’s what we do Karl. It can’t all be work during the project. We’ve done the same thing, pay as we go, enjoy some free down time also while we are there. 2 weeks ago we were under the cabin insulating and sheathed it with pressure treated plywood. We re now on our 3rd year of the project and getting closer to the finish line. Take care and it’s always nice to see your project improving!

That’s awesome to hear, great minds think alike!! We pretty much do all of our shopping on a cash basis. After 23 years, I was finally able to get a new truck 😂. Life is good here, too. We are just having a fairly guiet summer really. It has been just too hot & humid to do much of anything. Lately, we have "weather advisories" every day because of the extreme heat index in our area. Today is another day like that. Bella has been keeping us busy. She is growing so fast! She's nearly 4 months old now. Puppy obedience class, here we come! I'm glad that I could help out just a little bit with your new facilities -- roughing it with a little luxury is not bad at all! I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated, too. Enjoy!!

What a sunset!! Well done on the crappies Karl, bet they were tasty! I know what you mean on cabin work. There is finally light at the end of my tunnel! Drove a new point next to the cabin and power and installed a jet pump and pressure tank. Endless water to the shower and I finally can give Moxy and all the toys a bath! Will send a pick. After I finish spreading gravel on the trails I'm done! Enjoyed the video very much! Have a great week my friend!

Good crappie there buddy! Nice ones! Did you find a submerged christmas tree there? Some kind of structure I would guess. I have a similar little pond set up. Mine is maybe a couple feet deeper. I put two comet goldfish in it which have been in there 5 years now. In the summer my kids get some fancy guppies and put in there. They net as many guppies as they can out when the temps get below 65° for an entire week at night. That way there are no misquitos in there. The fish's colors are so vibrant and the guppies have a lot of babbies. I have noticed the bigger the goldfish get the cleaner and less insects seemed to be in the water. It turnes out like a big surprise when the guppies are put into a 55 gal aquirium in the fall. They try and count how many alltogether there are from the 6 males and 6 females they originally put in there. The aquirium is getting a nice amount now after 5 years. Stay safe and healthy!

This is a little different lake than what I usually fish. We ended up finding the fish suspended over some green weeds. I noticed last week that about an hour before dark. A bunch of fish were surfacing and It turned out it was crappies chasing minnows. I watched for the fish about a half hour before filming, I dropped a couple buoys to mark the spots, and enjoyed the rewards. Thanks for sharing the info about your pond. Sometime in the future I would love to put a pond in on my property. I really enjoyed hearing about it. Have an awesome week.

Yes I did! Thanks for the great idea. I kind of copied what you have at your camp. The picture I used for the thumbnail was a deer that came in that night. It’s amazing if you build it they definitely will come. Have an awesome week.
