A very welcome video for beginners ! I make most of those mistakes you mention😊

At 32nd minute South was apparently hoping partner had both the Diamond Ace and the low Club go lead back thru the Club King. Obviously he didn't bother to count the remaing Diamonds - if partner had one to lead back, then East's K was 'hanging' and South could run all his Clubs without needing Partner to lead it thru Declarer. If the East held both remaing Diamonds (K4) then Partner would be void in Diamonds and unable to lead it back. It was therefore South's responsibility to clear the suit and set up the Club winners that could set the contract himself. It was also bad to lead a Diamond as there was a slight chance Declarer might have a 6-card Diamond suit topped by AQ and would tun those to make his contract now that South had taken the King.

Around 28th minute you speak of South as "Declarer" several times (discarding Clubs, etc) - South is a defender. Otherwise, a good lesson video. Thanks for posting it. 👍

Great video, thanks Tony !! I just wonder at 29:50 how should south know to win with the 10❤.....?😅

Thanks for your question. South can win with 10H as he can see dummy (West), so this cannot be beaten.
