The thing is to bring this state of play to everyday life, not just within the space of schools and academia's whereas outside in the world people who have maintained the state of play and imagination are being suffocated and strungled!

I wish ted could bring in students that need help who are anxious and who have amxiety, like me for example when i go in drama improve class and get ready for an act i just stand there with no idea what to do... I want to be able to talk with more spirit and know how to talk with free will

Dragon Tran, good for you! I signed up for Drama in high school because I was too shy to speak. Improv can be intimidating but keep practicing and learning to let go and trust your gut. Give yourself permission to just do it. Let yourself fail but don't give up. It's the failing and mistakes that you overcome that help you to improve. You can do it! Just keep telling yourself that you can and you will.

Hey guys. Today I'm going to host an English meeting, and I want to do impov on my own. Just like John Snow, I know nohting about improv. This is the second video about improv from TED that I am watching. So far I know this: 1) Play Engaging with something just because it's fun 2) Let yourself fail 3) Listen 4) Say YES 5) Say YES and.... 6) Play The Game 7) Relax and have fun.

What I wanted to ask you guys? Can you give some tips on how to do improve? Can you recommend some games? Like Truth or a Lie?

Adam Schelenberg play yes and; open your awareness to physicality, so play mirroring exercise (mirror/copy another person) - even solo in public, if doing it stealthily: but then take that to duo or private solo where you pay attention to what you do naturally whilst speaking and then do more of it; blurt exercises where you begin a sound and finish the word; working to 30 second character monologues. based on mainly solo private exercises.
