Electrical Engineer in hardware design here - HUGE kudos to you on the PCB/processor design. The water is a little different, but this looks almost exactly like the real thing. The redstone looks almost like the pins you see on a processor motherboard (look up an Arduino for reference). Nicely done!

Possibly a stupidly over the top suggestion/idea, but you could upgrade your alarm system for the shulker boxes running out. You could use Tangos decked out sound system so that if the alarm goes off you can hear it no matter where on the motherboard you are. Even work in the bus line system he uses for it to help with the motherboard look for the district.

At this point shulkers mean nothing in the server. Both Impulse and Xisuma have been supplying the server with many shops reusing those same shulkers for their goods.

Yeah filling shulker boxes takes time, too - about 10 minutes with a one-hopper shulker loader, or you could make a really fast shulker loader using droppers that would take between 1-3 minutes depending on how many droppers you use... But it would be kind of a big, complicated machine. And if you're filling a bunch of shulker boxes, you need storage to hold the items that will go into the boxes - that gets really bulky rather quickly, unless you've got the items stored in shulker boxes... In which case, why do you need the shulker loader? You also need a way to get large quantities of the stuff (enough to fill a bunch of shulker boxes, so hundreds of stacks) from the farm where it's produced to the shop where it's sold. Easiest way to do that is just load up a bunch of shulker boxes. I mean, since you can *farm* shulker shells now, wasting shulker boxes doesn't really matter. That's why you see things like "instant shulker unloaders" that work by destroying the box in lava.

It's not exactly one-wide tileable and will eat up some vertical chest space, but since the bamboo item sorter issue has more to do with volume spikes rather than overall storage, minecart hopper item filter might be a good solution. Ilmango has a video on them and they're pretty simple and work with your filter design. I overcame not being tileable by situating the bottom minecart hopper across two hoppers to still unload to two single slices plus it doubles the rate they pull from the minecarts. Might even be able to set up 4x hopper speed but I haven't tested this yet.

There's something I just realized about rail redstone... since a few updates ago we can waterlog rails... soooooo... we now have a simple way to transmit redstone signals across water like rivers... without having to build and "drain" a small tunnel, instead just a simple bridge or simply running along the river/lake/ocean floor... Iv seen Tango do a bunch with rail based redstone lines but I never put railstone and water together... thats a big deal and super helpful for some projects I have in mind... O.O

I absolutely love your theme layout idea. I love what you have done. Some time back I had created a silo for my bamboo then had switches to divert the bamboo to either my super furnace room, or to my bamboo shulker box loader. So if you take ideas. Something to keep in your theme. Why not create a storage silo for the bamboo in the form of an m.2 ssd. Label it Hermi 120 similar to Samsung evo 980. Then you can divert it to any furnaces or shulker loaders.

Awesome Episode! One Shulker of Bamboo should do 3 Stacks of planks, so I'd say 3 diamonds would be a better price, and allow some competition. But you could do like something exclusive, as soon as 1.20 drops on HC, then you put the price up to 3 diamonds, so that would entice hermits to buy more now in preparation.

IMPULSE - Hermitcraft "Prop Hunt" totally needs to happen! 🤗 If every participant turns off particles in the settings, this could be a really fun game! A small Prop Hunt village could be built, and hiding players walk into a "dispensing machine" that gives them their prop at random, as well as their invisibility potion. Each hiding player also has a Goat Horn modded with a "whistling" sound.

I think things like that (custom models, custom graphics, custom audio, etc.) can be added by any of the hermits, but in order for other players to see them they have to be incorporated into the server's resource pack. So it should be doable but a bit of a hassle and it takes some time I think. (IIRC Mumbo wasn't able to roll out the crowns right away 'cause the assets were made but not yet incorporated onto the server...)

oh! the bamboo planks are new. i don't watch the update stuff. I know enough that bamboo planks must have been newer, I just didn't notice and already used them for a mineshaft house I'll dig into. Felt like it be nice to use a bamboo door, but that's not a thing yet. I haven't been exploring yet, so I haven't found cherry wood. I made the door funky to the mineshaft house with asymmetrical double doors and trap doors of oak.

I was trying to build a warden switch in my world so I could raid ancient cities safely for the armor trims that spawn there, and I build a chunkloader to keep it loaded, but I build the chunkloader too close to the farm and tons of wardens started spawning in the portal and sending them to the nether roof, so yes... 1.20 is great
