I think this episode really shows off how the hermit permits can lead to even more creativity! Anything not covered by a permit, like the post office and horse dealership, is up for anyone to sell. Even the XP bank could cost diamonds if Imp & Skizz decide they wanted to charge. Find (or make) an unconventional demand and sell the supply; really, there's unlimited potential.

I had an idea for your mailbox. What if you hooked up the mail received sound effect to your door so whenever you entered your base, if you have received mail while you were away, it would play the sound to alert you. I don't know how useful this would be, just think it is a cool idea.

You might want to try moving the water in that drop shaft. If you place the water about 3 blocks above your landing spot and use a sign to stop it from flowing down you end up with the best of all worlds. 1. You don't have to crawl out of a water whole even an inch deep. 2. You can instantly tell if something is blocking the water (unless it is light blue glass). 3. It looks really cool to just plop out of a tube at high speed and be unharmed.

For the cyberpunk city you could try drawing inspiration from lego cyberpunk cities made by people irl since lego has a similar ascetic to Minecraft so stuff that works for lego will work for Minecraft to. Also it’s just fun looking at what people can do with a limited building pallet, and what they can pull off when they have to make a structurally sound building with the materials they have, it just makes for incredibly creative but grounded designs.

I would have added one extra factor to open the door. Wire up an AND-gate to a pressureplate and your sculk sensor. Make it so you need to stand on that plate when activating that sculk sesnor.

For the lamps turning off after a server restart, I believe Xisumavoid has added some sort of redstone block that can turn on and off with the server restarts with some data pack magic. So maybe ask him about it.
