I'm here to rewatch it again! It truly made my awful past week into an amazing weekend! I couldn't have asked for better timing! Also, the HC community keeps proving that even a community that "hides" more than other communities has such a big positive impact! I can't wait for the next one. It is nice so many hermits from all over the world came together, and everyone was able to either meet for the first time in person or get to see each other again! It was nice now knowing Grain is not 6' like he claims lol #shortking of HC is truly the Kings!

How on earth does a flight from Newfoundland to Detroit take that long??? She could have driven there faster than that Edit: Ohhhh wait does she live on the islandy bit of it? Maybe its isolated enough theres only the one airport and not much traffic.

She’s in Newfoundland, the island part of the province of Newfoundland & Labrador (NL) - her flight would’ve been longer if she was in Labrador, it’s so isolated. The ~24 hours of travel is likely due to delays and layover(s). No direct flights between St John’s, NL and Detroit, MI. And driving from St John’s, NL to Detroit is a ~40-h trip (including a ferry from NL to NS and toll roads)….a 3452 km trip (that’s ~2145 miles).

@snotrajohnson Yeah i wrote that before i realized it was the island part. Although over 24 hrs for a freaking plane ride, if you stepped on the gas it probably wouldn't be much worse lol. But also, you know, a good reason to not have it in Michigan? Im still not clear why on EARTH that was the location 😆. Afaik theres no hermitcraft connection to that town at all, and no one has ever said "you know where Ive always wanted to go? One of the crappiest city in the rust belt". So doubt that was it either...

@@andrewbloom7694 Comments I've seen on other vids/vods state that this facility is where Gamer's Outreach has done their fundraising since 2016 or so. GO rents the place for a weekend and does a big fund-raising push once a year. That's why there were other groups there; everyone came in for Gamer's Outreach.
