It's funny because the personal article is fairly common in highly informal/rural varieties of Spanish

They also teach the language at several universities and in community centers in Cherokee Nation. It was the only language I've studied because they offered double credits in college for it. I only took one semester of it because it fulfilled my language requirement. Which I had stuck with it longer.

Mate your accent when you read Spanish is on point. How did you get there? Have you lived in a Spanish speaking country? And if not, I’d love to hear how you got there!

If you had to choose a language to learn from Southeast asia. What would be your top (3)? I was curious to learn the Malay language since it sounds similar to Tagalog. Although right now the closest language to pronounce to tagalog i find is spanish. Since tagalog has spanish words, and i believe some influence of malay words. It would be easier for me to learn since Tagalog really is a mix of 3 languages Eng,Spanish,Malay.

I love when he just takes out his handy notebook 🤣❤️ I'm from Tlaxcala, which has a lot to do with Spain and Mexico's colonization. :3 We got to keep our names and languages, they're slowly disappearing :'( because Spanish is more commonly used and people need to make a living out of something, so interaction is key.

Chavacano can't only be found in Zamboanga they're many place that also speak Chavacano in a different variant just to a few Caviteño Chavacano and Ternateño Chavacano those two were the original Chavacano plus, Chavacano has portuguese and italian Vocabulary. That thing of adding el and la to people's names is very common and very stereotypical of Sinaloan Spanish in Mexico. They'll even use the article with household brands, especially the ones from Sinaloa 😅

"...raised by Portuguese..." Haha! True, there are similarities in pronunciation. But, if you listen carefully, Catalán really sounds like it was raised by French and Spanish. It literally *IS* a cross between these two languages. There are moments when it sounds more French than Spanish, and vice versa. Sure, Catalán is nasal, like Portuguese, but Portuguese has an intonation that's really unique to itself, it has a way of expression that's really Portuguese. The intonation of Catalán is closer to French, its expression/delivery is straightforward like Spanish.

Indonesia and Philippines were once under the Indian sphere of influence that is why both countries have their writing systems based on the Indian abugida writing systems. in the Philippines we have 16 writing systems and baybayin is just one of those 16 but the most popular. Indonesia like the Philippines also has a lot of writing systems. Here is an example of baybayin writing magandang umaga po ᜋᜄᜈ᜔ᜇᜅ᜔ ᜂᜋᜄ ᜉᜓ
