Hi, I am a landscape architect. The tree you are seeing is probably a white pine. They typically have a straight trunk with upward growing branches. The needles are very acidic, and provide a quality soil additive for rhododendron. So maybe adding some azalea shrubs near/underneath would look nice.

45:02 The tree looks pretty sick overall, per usual. Personally, I would add more leaves to the outside to give it a fuller look but also add to the overall cone shape that’s typical in spruce trees (which I assume is the tree you’re going for). I would suggest adding more fences and trapdoors then more leaves on said fences and trapdoors. Put them on the ends of the preexisting tips of the branches. Like where the leaves curve up on the very end of the branch. Idk if this is making sense I hope it is. Keep up the good work! Absolutely love your videos and they’ve become something that I look forward to 🫶🏽

Hey, it's me about the trees again, I see improvement there 100% but you did 90° gap between all branches it doesn't look real. Advices for spruce: try to build diagonal branches, make it taller (spruces are very tall usually), add short dead branches at the bottom (without leaves, usually there is no much light at the bottom so those branches are dying). And finally do not put grass under spruce it's better to replace grass blocks with coarse dirt or podzol (low light, dead spruce needles = no grass)

Suggestion for the arch/bridge, instead of having it split down the middle have it be 1 wider arch that kind of swoops down a little more, and having the bridge have a roof/covered bridge type look would solidify it as 1 building instead of 2 imo. Happy building!

Oh - I also saw the sword in the stone one and thought that too! You could also shift the pickaxe around the pile by one block (90 degrees) and it'll look like it's actually embedded in the ore and not sitting on it (so that there's an ore under it and it's attached to the ore that it's currently attached to).

a great person to get inspo from for custom trees is Goodtimeswithscar! some of the trees he builds are insane. Also for decorating the exterior i think you’re doing great. one thing i love to do is to add lanterns with chains hanging down. would also fit quite well with the medieval theme. i think something you should do to add to your area is create a better path network and detail it and i believe it would start to tie the builds together, even if you’re worried they might all look too different

Building with gravel sucks though lol.
