Loved it! I'd never heard of these, either. Don't apologize for the screams & excitement. That made it fun--and *more real*! I know that the closer to the ground you are, the faster it feels like you're moving. So that's probably why people say you must be going faster (than 26mph). Although it does seem fast! (And like you said, if you're 300lb, it probably is faster.) I'll bet those little bumps really "get your belly", as we say here in the Ozarks. :) That was always the fun part of coasters for me, but they'd just have a few. This has one after the other. The prices are really cheap, too. I've got to check your playlist(s), now! :) Thanks for posting these!

404UsernameNotFoundX Every time I would ride the fast lane there was ALWAYS some slowpoke, usually a girl, that took that lane then fucking died. I always bumped them and yelled to speed up. Never had a great ride because of these types of people.
@davidjellis8 жыл бұрын
There is always a risk of getting behind a slower rider...happens a lot and it's very frustrating - that said, it isn't an excuse for breaking the safety rules of the ride, sorry.
@stefs8 жыл бұрын
it happened to me when i was a kid. i always tried to go full speed, but due to lacking body weight i even ground to a full halt at one point (unintentionally). the operator urged me to get going again ... and it did. i've got no idea why i fully stopped back then (i wasn't scared of the speed or anything), it just happened. i guess max speed is dependent on body weight, so it'd be no surprise mostly (smaller) girls are the slow pokes. it's not their fault.
@TickingClocks7 жыл бұрын
You sound like an ass Dave, bumping can happen regardless but yelling is not worth it.

It is my understanding that when given today's advancements in Fighter Technology, many of the free world Air Forces are sending their best pilots to Austria with the intent to ride this coaster in an effort to weed out potential future problems in their ranks. Not only does this coaster test the limits of human endurance under extreme G loads, it also provides the Aviation Medical Professionals with a stating base line for all future testing to be applied as new technology continues to be developed and deployed. We truly live in exciting times if I may say!

Years and years ago at Alton Towers I went on an all weather bobsleigh ride down a fibreglass track. I was only about 12. Partway down a wild rabbit popped out the side of the track, leading me to panic and lean the other way, flipping the sled of and up in the air whilst I slid down the fibreglass burning skin off my arms, legs, back and torso. I was dazed and took a while to gather myself. Nobody came to my aid, yet no further sleds came down. There were screens showing the track from the top but I must've come off in between cameras. The first person I saw was my dad who was wondering where I'd got to as my sister had safely returned to them. That was SO DANGEROUS! Not one person helped me except my dad who just took me away from the area to get treatment rather than kicking off at the ride. The wounds took months to heal, with hindsight I should've had skin grafts as there was no skin to heal over, then they got infected too. The ride was removed and something else put in its place the next time we went but my parents never complained so I expect others would have come off it too
@davidjellis7 жыл бұрын
Those types of ride (alpine slides / toboggans) are potentially unsafe as you can indeed come off them if going too fast for the conditions (I came off twice on the longest one in North America in August last year and my elbow is still sore) - the ride in this video is an alpine coaster and fixed to the track so you cannot capsize or fall off, so not a safety risk. I like the alpine slides, but will think twice after coming off that one last year before I attempt one at speed!
