What I dnt understand is if I came across an escort left in the place I just saw .I’d do my hardest to find the person .reg .neighbours if any.land deeds and ask to buy it .if nothing come up and the last owner on papers is alive and they say they dnt own it anymore .I’d do a police phone call and find out if it was stolen .And if it come bck as not stolen and the person who owned the land had passed .I would acquire it and restore it .seeing then grow trees inside .and just rotting away .is a waste .

The rs2000 was a proper one. Hole for gearbox was in proper place cut out for clock pod in dash strut top plates and cut out for radiators all unique to rs2000 and Mexico. Servo for brakes same rs2000.. I'm just doing a Mexico andspent years doing research on them Shame it's gone. Hope it's been moved buy owner for restoration

Early cars was blue upto 78. 100% really rs2000 I've owned my mk2 Mexico 26 years and spent most of that time looking up difference ect. I'm on with full restoration of the Mexico at min . The owner probably sold it on or sometimes the land is cleared by force by the council, as I have seen many times. The owners are forced to comply. I had a Ford Transit Luton MK3 and a Vauxhall Combo sitting on my parents drive for a while when one day the owner of the rental property a bungalow turned up with the police and a notice to clear the land because of complaints from neighbours. Where I live you can’t store anything on the driveway or around it , I tried with a tax’d and MOT’d ex ambulance a V8 LDV and got letters after letters from the private estate housing association (even though I bought the property in a private development with other neighbours on it . It’s ridiculous in London.

A mix of Land Rover One Ten , 90 and Series Land Rovers. I only saw one actual Defender, the one on the H-plate. The old L plate is a Series 3 and looked to have been built on a galvanised chassis. Most of the parts looked to be Series Landy stuff rather than Defender. Remember, before 1990 , what people today call Defenders (which seems to have become a generic term for ALL Land Rovers) were actually designated Ninety or One Ten. The Defender name came in 1990 along with the 200Tdi engine. They changed from the name of the wheelbase, to an actual name "Defender", to keep up with the "Discovery" introduced the year before. Sorry to go on, but as a 30 years owner of all types of LR vehicles, you tend to get a bit nerdy.

Owners have to secure there properties with security fencing. As silly as this is, if someone goes in there and gets injured then the owners can be sued! So by securing the property the owners can’t legally be prosecuted
