His voice is sooo smooth ... silky, clear, almost a rich chocolate!! It's a treat to hear him. Being Korean, I presume he is totally unknown in the USA. Given the maturing of American audiences for foreign performers, it would be a reasonable gamble for him to make a tour of the US. I wish I were an agent and could sign him for the American audience.

never heard of this singer before, stumbled upon this video after searching Nella Fantasia. I have to say he's better than Paul Potts in terms of pronounciation and clarity of voice. Love this video!! never knew that Asian can sing operas as good!!

Great control and I just have to say (coming from someone teaching English to Koreans) I love his R and L sounds ( cause that's what they usually struggle with) oh and can I just add? I love his legato. Perfect breathing and he really hit the high notes with ease.

@TheGuitarMan009 Instrumental came from the movie Mission, music by Moricone. For years he refused to let it be sung till Sarah Brightman wore him down and was allowed to put words to it. I believe she is first to sing it. You can't name the song G's Oboe, obviously.

am a Korean so not really in a position to judge with other performers, but I think this person is really really great. The greatest thing about this person's singing is not only his sometimes amazingly clear and beutiful voice, but his face expression. That's the exact face expression i would have in the context of the song. Other performers in youtube just doesnt have that. I dont know why.

@jewelmarkess ..absolutely correct.. which is also why those who attack classical crossover singers for singing arias when they are not "opera singers" are not only picking at nits but are narrow minded and snobbish. The young singer, Jackie Evancho did a great job on this song singing for Save the Seals Humane Society Benefit in LA. Her young pitch perfect mature beyond her years voice adds an otherworldly or angelic tenor to the song.

Chloe is amazing for her age. Hopefully, her voice will develop a little weight as she gets older. There are lots of different kinds of sopranos, though, so hard to say who is the best. Your favorite, I'll grant you. His phrasing and pitch are right on. It's a little slow, but this is the best MALE version that I have heard on KZbin so far. If you have any recommendations that are BETTER, I would love to hear them. :)

@UsohJ This is a beautiful song, beauitifully sung. You have a point, but I have to mention one thing. There is no such thing as "opera song". Opera is an extended work of drama/comedy that is sung-through rather than spoken (with some small exceptions), it's like a musical but sung in a classical style without microphones. A solo from opera is called "aria". This is not an aria. This is a song written in a classical crossover style - a mix of classical and pop. Great performance, though.

I always think the higher "volano" notes are meant to be sweet and deep. I like Tae-Kyung's soft approach, but I still prefer Chloë Agnew's version the best.

@DocDLH One problem is that media and fans label the crossover singer "opera singers" - this is the cause of many arguments. Jackie is special, because she has an exquisitely beautiful and rich tone of voice - out of this world, she sings with emotion, and if she ever changes her mind and decides to pursue opera, she could be great in opera too with training. But many crossover singers simply don't sing arias well, not just in another way, just like many opera singers are bad in other genres.
