I always had a theory that the original celestial dragons had powers similar to those of the devil fruits but in an organic way. In the same way that Lunarians can handle fire and have wings in an organic way, the celestial dragons had their powers. I think that the war with the Ancient Kingdom began when they began to create the devil fruits that allowed normal people to access the powers that only these castes had and they planned to eradicate them because they considered that they had to be inferior, but the fruits ended up reincarnating successively due to the cyclical and circular energy that Oda talks about so much.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. After learning that Vivi’s ties to the D initial is one of the main reasons why her ancestor didn't become a Celestial Dragon & there's Poneglyph in Alabasta's royal castle, wouldn't this mean the other places Luffy visited (such as Sky Island, Fishman Island, Zou, Wano, and probably Amazon Lily) respectively had D carriers regardless of who they are, or if they still exist today? 2. If Hancock ever learned that Fujitora willfully helped the slaves go during the Revolutionary Army’s attack on the Celestial Dragons, wouldn't this convince her to forgive the Admiral for his involvement with the end of the Warlord system? 3. After seeing the silhouettes of the form Imu & the Elders recently took on, I am getting the feeling that Luffy will most likely be screwed unless he takes Saturn very seriously!

It would be weird for the kingdoms, and world government, to allow 5 old men to rule them for 800 years. You’re looking too deep into how the gorosei were drawn Brodie. That’s just Ora’s way of silhouetting them so their reveal later would be bigger. If it was Imu’s power that changed them, they would’ve added an onomonopia or a technique name offscreen at least. I’m pretty sure the Gorosei’s abilities are WAY too important for Oda to just drop in this chapter when they’re not going to do anything until much later.

3 things I want to point out 1. Drum kingdom was attacked by Blackbeard and we were never given the reason why now that the king of drum is back in the story. It may actually be important 2. Lili is likely the last member of the crew and she's going to rejoin them one final time 3. One piece has a history of shadowing out things. They don't want you to know about ahead of time including people's abilities like buggy's hand in the first panel he was using it. The elders are likely Just not going to be revealed until later

IMU is probably immortal and has tried to prevent this outcome, it feels she’s seeing the story repeating itself.
