So, here's my head cannon: The Deities of Earth and Serpent of Hell Flame could both be directly referring to Pluton and Uranus respectively. The Deity of the Forest dispatching demons is an obvious analogue to the creation of Devil Fruits (meaning the Devil Fruits were likely created during the Void Century), and of course, the Deity of the Sea rampaging could in fact be Poseidon. It makes sense then that there are four gods plus a heavenly serpent--a dragon, if you will. I believe the first war ended with the formation of the Red Line, and the second war--one which was likely intended to blow up the Red Line--was what caused the oceans to rise by at least 100 meters, drowning the second world in the process. I'm clearly missing some details, like where Imu falls in, and without knowing where Blackbeard, White Beard, Loki, Imu, or Dragon fall in place, all we can really do here is make some suggestions.

Ok, so, initial first take theory. The earth dragon is literally power over the earth, but not the ocean. The ocean is the great equaliser among devil fruits. My theory: the first in world mankind discovered the power used to make the mother flame. With this power they enslaved other races. It quite literally looks like oda is following the story of ancient Sumeria’s story of the world, leading up the the events in the Bible (this is the legend of adapa, which is basically genesis but written thousands of years earlier, the actual first fully completed human tale we have). We’ll do some comparisons. We see them working mines in the mural, wishing to be let free. Humanity touched the *forbidden* sun, then they made a wish for a new god due to the cruelty of this one. I think they ate the energy they were mining, creating DF’s. Sumeria’s origin was written as “God” (this is supposedly the same god in the bible), an alien with advanced technology, created and enslaved men to mine resources for their home planet. He was cruel. Enlil (known as satan to us), put something in us that broke us free from enslavement and made us spiritually superior to them. The 2 warred against each other, through DNA preservation, advanced weapon warfare, and several other means. The second mural and story is very close to the story of Atlantis and Lemuria. Lemurians we’re spiritually superior, and said to be descendants of the gods. They were tall with 4 arms aswell. Atlanteans were advanced humanoids. They would war, and the spiritual gods “lemurians” would be eradicated. Atlanteans would then, in a single night, *perish to a flood, only to be wiped entirely off the face of the earth* .Similar to the ancient kingdom. Edit: I rushed this one. The mural says the sun spread seeds of war, moon and half- mooned dreamed, and the god of the sea became enraged. I think the moon “lunarians” and half moon (could be sky people, but I think the 3 eyed tribe) “dreamed”, which I think is wording for slept, or culled, due to the sun’s doing. Imu ordered this, and the “god of the sea” (no clue) was so enraged they took away the DF power to swim. Then the third panel. It talks of mass chaos, and voids. Then says the day of promise will return. The *sun* will return guiding the world into peace. That is quite literally revelations.. I think the truth will be revealed, and the one piece will be that original energy source that created DF’s, that can only activate for Nika. Beautiful setup imo.

Random theory about the first world: in the “first world” it is specified that there was fire on the earth and that humanity had given in to desire and touched the forbidden sun. The forbidden sun would be the fire (in the lower part of the mural) that is the current mother flame, a source of energy capable of powering the advanced technologies of the time (see gears and buildings/chimneys in the mural) that was collected by slaves. In fact, in the mural you can see an "elevator" with slaves who go down to collect the fire and on their heads they have a halo that symbolizes the fact of being pure before touching the forbidden sun. The use of this source of energy through their technologies would have polluted (see smoke coming out of the buildings/chimneys in the mural) and consequently raised the sea level thus extinguishing all the fire present on the earth, symbolizing the god of the earth who becomes furious and thus causing darkness due to the absence of the flame. This would also explain why when the ancestral weapon Uranus is used it causes the sea to rise, that is, because of the mother flame. With the hell serpent I think he means the appearance of the redline (I don't know exactly how) and for this reason it is said that "they will never be able to meet again", referring to the fact that it divides the world and consequently people on one side and the other will never be able to meet again. I think that at the end of One Piece the red line will be destroyed and for this reason in the "third world" it is said that they will definitely be able to meet again

1. I think diety of earth is a metaphor (like an earthquake or something for mining too deep). Serpant is an actual beast (maybe with earth powers). 2. Deity of the Forrest is also a metaphor (as a tree giving birth to power users a.k.a their fruits). Dragon can be imu and/or celestial dragons. Here and in Imu’s typical silhouette they look like an Umibozu, which is a manifestation of the ocean and Japanese sailors used to fear it. In a world dominated by seafaring, a mythological sea god (demon) makes perfect sense for the big bad. Being that it’s a a folklore creature that’s blamed for all mishaps and disasters that happen at sea, it would explain the scale of Imu’s powers. Umibozu’s are described as octopus-like and sometimes that they can create new Umibozu’s at will (like empowering the Goresei.) Thematically, it’d also be a perfect foil to Luffy. In this world, there probably aren’t two more important deities than the Sun God and the Sea God (demon.) That’s my bet. Imu’s devil fruit is a mythical zoan for Omibozu

The Bible theory starts to become credible. In the Bible, Satan (imu) fell and convinced humans to eat the forbidden fruit (dfs), and when they did, they were punished with mortality. When God tried to redeem them, he sent Jesus (nika), whom they slew and became self-made gods and rulers of the land. But Jesus (nika) was resurrected. And finally, as the Bible says, the biggest enemy was the void, the emptiness that would consume all… a black hole... a Big Bang, which coincidentally has the same starting letters as Blackbeard. My theory in Imu's symbolism and what he represents: I believe that while Luffy represents the Sun/freedom and Blackbeard Darkness/chaos/entropy, Imu, along side Father from FMA, represents in some ways the symbols of the Dark Sun. Now the Dark Sun represents a lot of things depending on who you ask but in this case I'll focus on the following three: One) In some cases the Dark sun represents a bastardizing or dark reflection of the qualities of the Sun. To put it simply the sun represents life, natural order or in other words moral order, people living and letting others live. This in a way is represented in Luffy, who wants to be the most free man in the sea, sets free islands/nation that lived under authoritarian regimes, has the powers of the sun god nika and has a straw hat that looks like the sun. The Dark Sun, Imu, represents a twisted artificial version of order and a bastardization of life. Instead of an order maintain by morality/people living in harmony by choice he creates an order maintained by authoritarianism and violence, in other words a false artificial/man made "order" design and envisioned by him. Second) the Dark Sun represents what one would call the hidden hand or the power behind the throne that actually controls all from the shadows. While the archetypal good king (that wears a crown representing the sun and it's rays, or in this case a straw hat) leads his people in the open, maintains peace and harmony and is the embodiment of Morality, a dark/hidden ruler, like Imu, or Father in FMA, keeps her/himself in the shadows controling everything behind the scenes since he/she would know that in order to effectively control a population the last thing you would want is for everyone to know your face and thus the type of person you are in case they don't want to be ruled by you any longer. Better to have a front man or a bunch of somewhat benevolent kings that are easy to manipulate or take out and have the people focus on them. If they f'ck up, like Doflamingo or that guy from Drum Island, all you have to do is replace them with someone more likeable and the people will be content and non the wiser. And third) in a way it represents the attempt of becoming some type of artificial/substitute god figure, like the gnostic Demiurge, that replaces the idea of a universal life giving unseen God due to seeing themselves as a god, as a superior being or in other words: having a huge god complex. Both Imu and Father keep themselves hidden from the world. This is to give themselves a sense of separation from the rest of humanity and increases their sense of superiority/godhood and since they are unseen when controling the rest of the nation/world it makes them feel like the unseen but ever present god that controls everything. The quote that extenuates all this factors is the one Father says when he's about to absorb "God" in the series climax: "I will no longer be bound to you and your consequences" This means that he, and probably Imu as well, doesn't want to be bound and limited to the Natural/Universal/Moral Laws of life, of the universe. He sees himself as superior to all life and thus belives that he should be the one to decide the laws everyone obeys, the laws that control life, the laws theat decide what is Moral and immoral. He wants to be god and thus desires to eliminate the real God/the Truth/Morality, or in he's case absorbe Him, and become/substitute Him as a new false god.

I find that One Piece is strongly related to Egyptian Mythology. Luffy has the power of Sun God Nika, could be the embodiment of Ra - the sun god that sails across the sky in a solar boat, bringing the sun each day and battling darkness at night. Aka luffy and his allies fighting the devil/dragon that is imu and his various world noble allies. The first world was when the ancient kingdom had the most power and was burned down by the hell serpent and dragon which could be the forest god which could be imu considering the demons the forest god sent to the world, the second world was drowned by the sea god/poseidon when imu and the 19 kings killed joyboy and ascended to godhood hence the killing of the sun and humanity ascending to godhood. The end of the 3rd world wasn't described like the first 2 because it hasnt happened yet in which the dancing and laughing sun god will usher in its end. The flowery language is meant to confuse you, but looking at the mural and reading deeper into the passages illustrates a pretty clear picture of what happened or what possibly happened during the void century and beyond.

The 2 creatrues that seems to be "Dragons" fighting each other or fighting the flying ship might be Monkey D Dragon and Wadatsumi, if you look at the creature in the middle at a upside down angle, it looks like a bird symbol or Quetzalcóatl (God of Winds and Rain) which might be the mythical zoan-type that Dragon had eaten and the name Wadatsumi is derived from Watatsumi which is a Japanese Dragon God of Water and Sea, the Wadatsumi we had seen on fisherman island arc might be coming back with it's true dragon form or not.

really feel that each of the 3 monsters is just a representation of the leader during that age. They could all be Imu but I don't think so, the whole "the god of the ..." sounds more like a title then when it mentions Sea God or Sun God which seem like actual figures. So in each age the "god" or leader of the world at that time used some powers to seperate the people to make them easier to control. The 1st age creates the "serpent of flame" which is the Red Line which seperated East and West, and the 2nd age ruler created the "devil fruits" which angers the Sea God who created the Grand Line which seperated North and South. Each of the rulers or people referenced as "god of the ..." are represented by the black shadowy creatures just like Emu is represented in the 3rd Age panel.

Skypiea is actually the whole world story summarised, more specifically the first world The sky people came down to the earth( a parallel to earth people shandorians going to the sky), they brought technology with them, we saw in enel's cover story that moon races have technology which needs a power source. The earth people took the energy tech and created the ancient weapon pluton, the right half of the mural seems to show exactly that, 20 people powering the giant weapon, this lead to the creation of redline and west and east were separated, never to meet again
