Interesting footage. I always used to enjoy our trip up to Buxton. Nice drive up there through the Peak District, nice station and a nice little depot. I remember the Class 104 units there too.

Three 60's and a 37 - not really going to see the likes of that convoy again. Good catch :) As for the locos: 37503 - one of the early ones (originally 37017) - Currently at Wensleydale Railway 37188 - scrapped 2019 (really - thanks WCRC...not) 37417 - scrapped 2013 60046 - In use by DCRail 60056 - In use by GBRf 60061 - Believed rusting at Toton

Shame about one being left to rust, is it in a sidings?
@joncrawford34854 жыл бұрын
@@marcushenno If you check Mikes video of Toton some 4 years ago ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmjPg2mPZ8yrr68 ) you'll see the rather shameful "storage" of a number of class 60's. See 6:34 in that video for a row of 60's which I believe includes 60061.

Cheers Jon for your investigation work on them locos, much appreciated. Mike. Cheers for taking a look also.

Toton just up the road from me. I often look to the left on the A52 bridge if travelling to Derby, just to see how many Cl60's are still there parked up on the siding, they are one of my favourite loco's
