Well my husband and I have been approved by USCIS and NVC. We are waiting for an interview date and time from abroad. This is frustrating! It’s overwhelming! I don’t know what more we can do. I cry, I scream and my husband and I argue… because of the wait and uncertainty. Where’s the sigh of relief?

What seems frustrating is USCIS claims that they process applications in the order which they receive them, which isn’t true. My wife and I filed our AOS in March 2022, waiting on EAD/GC/AP and yet there’s people who filed after us and they’ve gotten their EAD already 😔 You’re 100% on the expedite - most of them just get the “we don’t believe your case is worth expediting” without requesting evidence.

Josiah yes family based just had GC interview 2 weeks ago after 3 years. USCIS have misplaced or lost 2 original documents so again we are on hold for who knows how long this time. We were told we met the criteria however who knows where this is going.

Hello Jim. Thank you very much for this information, EB1-A visa when the NVC is finished working, How long will we have to wait? It's been 8 months since then, we only get an update once every 60 days from NVC. It has been 11 months since the case was approved, And NVC completed its work since 8 months... 😭 thanks

I filed the k1 in July 2021 and 1 year later i still haven’t gotten my NOA2. I have called my senators, written the white house, I cant make an inquiry to USCIS yet because they keep extending processing times. What a nightmare. I cant even plan my wedding because I have no idea when my fiance will be able to come here. We are a young couple and can wait but would love to start a family. US immigration system is so broken😔

I have noticed that all the service centers slowed way down since the beginning of this month (Im on visajourney and a couple of fb groups and there have been almost no approvals in about a month) - is it because of summer vacations? Or is something going on at the offices? We filed august 3rd, so it'll be a year soon and we are still stuck at vermont sc :/ even traveling to see each other a few times a year is very expensive for us and I so hoped my last trip there was the last, but with no approval in sight and still having to go through NVC, I lost my hopes I'd make it there before Christmas this year.
