There have been alot of people saying a few things about the newer version of the savage..so I've been sticking to my first gen savages only because I know those versions were well put together and they can handle a bunch of abuse..great video my friend

Yes I have a 21 and 25 solid platforms I did not intend to put anybody off I love the truck it just took alot to get it there probably to much yes but it’s still amazing 👍👍👍

Hey man! Very valid and FAIR points you made and I agree. The servos certainly suck, but they usually will not strip (only good part). Price wise, it's not cheap and not any faster than the older models. Good part is, it''s a Great New Nitro you can buy!!!

Definitely it’s the most popular and arguably the best nitro monster truck of all time and you can still by versions of it new and that’s amazing there is a reason it’s so popular and still available. No other monsters truck you can bye today can you use like a Savage!

Im not a huge RTR fan. Especially after my nitro slash as I too had problems out of the box which was annoying especially it being my first time dealing with nitros. The LST servos are better than this savage and it’s 20 years older! After all that trouble it’s still a good looking truck.

hey bro! I definitely agree, LST servos were some of the best for the time period. LST's used proper JR radios and servos, and in fact I've almost never had one of them go bad.

I like the LST a lot and wile I agree about the servos(I’m also an LST fan and owner there are many things I prefer about the savage 21 and 25 that are of the same era. Like I mentioned in the comments there is a reason it’s the most popular Monster truck and arguably Nitro ever made! You got to love an LST though 😂👍👍👍

O man it wasn’t supposed to put you off lol I have other Savages a 21 and a 25 they are great trucks this truck is great as well but it took a lot to get it there it’s like Raw RC said it should as come as a kit or roller and fyi I had one of the first run of the new ones possibly some🤞 of the stuff is sorted now 😂 thanks for watching bro

These are all frustrating issues, I bought the new 4.6 version and this had its own issues. It was exciting to hear they brought the Savage back but also disappointing considering things are meant to improve over time. Like you say when you get the issues sorted it's an amazing basher! They are also not bad on price since they reduced it. It's better in my option to get the XL due to the price difference 😊

Yes that is an opinion that a lot of people share that the xl is a better buy, horse for course I say but it is disappointing about the quality issues also. Hopefully we will get better in the future 🤞😂

I have many savages of all kinds...if you know what your doing they are great medium bashers!! Ive always said hpi should just sell them as a kit for cheaper,so you can put it together yourself,and make sure its good to go. I also think as cool as 3 speed is,i prefer 2 speed,much easier to adjust with all the diffents engines that may be swapped in. Nice vid🫡
