This is going to help my sister and I so much. We love acting but we don’t have the money or time to find someone to represent us. The masterclass is lovely. I wish I had this channel ten years ago when I left acting... I’m back at it now, at 31, and Netflix is my favourite place to audition- so far just extras. But I’m hoping to land a real role soon. As for my health, I’m making healthy food and not eating pre made junk anymore. How am I doing? @@icurlykid6987 backstage is basically a website/app where you can find auditions for musicals, movies, shows and projects. You basically put your area and your age range and you can find auditions. You can also find international auditions for like Netflix shows and stuff ig. I think you do have to pay a monthly subscription tho to use it

Sometimes a little extra word here or there is typically fine, but I wouldn’t do anything crazy. When your audition happens to be in person, you don’t want it to throw off the reader reading with you

You can only audition with the scene given to you. You can’t do your own scene and just send it off to the casting directors

Parents typically help out with the driving a lot (during the audition process). Sometimes they wait in the lobby, while their son or daughter do their audition. Once an actor starts driving himself it’s up to him/her to figure it out with their parents. Every family has their own rules when it comes to that, when they have someone younger auditioning

Friends or you can have someone record the audio separate (if you’re good with splicing audio together) or you can do it over FaceTime, where you put your phone/iPad off to the side of the mic. There’s a few different options when it comes to this 👍🏼

@@ThisisEnzoman I cannot guarantee you will find a job. No one can.. I had a great submission I just sent off for in the video, but I still can’t guarantee whether I will book the part or not. My chances may be better, because of the professionalism of the clip/my acting, but many factors are at play after you submit your audition to casting, which no actor can control at that point.

If someone is wanting to move to LA they will have to be able to be financially stable in my opinion. If you don’t have a car, you want really be able to attend the auditions you get. If actors are financially stable, they have a better chance at making it successfully, compared to if they have no money at all
