In a seemingly perfect city where they lack genuine emotions and sensations. Andreas, arrives in this city and is provided with a job, an apartment, and a girlfriend. The city's inhabitants exhibit no deep feelings, and their lives revolve around meaningless materialism. Andreas, who can still feel emotions, becomes increasingly unsettled by the lack of genuine human connection and the pervasive emptiness of the city.

I have social anxiety (not to be confused with introversion) since early childhood. This looks like hell to me, and I'd really hate to be here. They prolly _are_ in Hell for all we know. Having social anxiety doesn't mean we don't want connection. Many of us actually crave it, it's just that our anxiety is this huge obstacle we can't easily overcome. We even dream/fantasize about having a life where we can easily make friends and don't miss out on opportunities cos of anxiety. It's an illness to be treated, not a part of who we really are.
