I'm sure you're just trying to be a sarcastic troll, but if you're looking for a legitimate answer, yes, it is actually much easier to play all the parts if I didn't do any stick tricks or if I played very reserved and with little energy, but I'm not trying to do whats easy, I'm doing something that I have fun doing and enjoy and also entertaining people with the show/visuals and drumming.

Yes Fede does great copy's but a cover is a variation of the song not playing exact the same song. Why should I listen to Fede if Green Days does the same song? Covers are variation with own interpretation. Example "Jolene - Dolly Parton" "Jolene - Me first and the gimme gimmes". Drum covers are songs with various drum notes. That's it. And btw EVERYONE who held drum sticks in his hands can copy "In Bloom". Its probably not the most difficult song on drums by Nirvana ;-)

I've been playing drums for 5 years now. I always want to beat hard and hit as many tams as possible, as long as that works to express myself. Sometimes, I forget about the original atmosphere of the song I cover, and broke the rule or composition in some parts. However, that is what I really love in covering favorite song. That feels as if I played with the artists, some of who are gone long. Felt like in heaven. Hope there is somebody who feels me. I guess cooper the drummer beats in his way, possibly quite similar in my way of drumming. That is why I love every video he uploads.

Everlong is actually relatively simple. Taylor Hawkins has some other good songs to drum to - Bridge Burning leaves more room for creativity like you love to do, as well as This is a Call. Low has some sick fills that are generally more difficult, and for a good chill track you could do Hey, Johnny Park! ORRR you could do all of them because Foo Fighters are awesome. Actually Chad Channing wrote the drum parts before Dave Grohl were in Nirvana and was recorded by Butch Vig. You can hear Dave Grohl in the chorus.

Ah yeah, Rope is written to fit, Grohl's writing and recording is driven by drums so naturally there is fewer ways you can manipulate a Foos track. I think cflynndrummer's call with Everlong is a good one. Wow, the more I think about it, knowing how you play and cover songs, it's hard to pick out a Foo Fighters song that could be changed.. Although songs like Stacked Actors or My Hero could have some promising arrangements.
