In 1946 Trans-Jordan(or Jordan), also part of the British Mandate, originally to be part of Israel, was handed over to the Arabs, and all the Jews living there were forced to flee into what became Israel. (Ever wonder why there are 2 million Israeli Arabs but zero Jordanian Jews?) Israel agreed to further divide and share the remaining tiny sliver of land to the west, the Arabs refused. Israel accepted a 2-state solution FIVE times and each and every time the Arabs refused - they made no secret of the fact that they wanted to take all of it and drive the Jews into the sea. Also typically overlooked is that along with Jewish immigration to Israel, including 700,000-800,000 Arab Jews who were forced out of Arab countries, there was also immigration by approximately the same number of Arabs from the surrounding Arab states during the time of the British mandate. So Jews have essentially been ethnically cleansed from Muslim states, whereas Israeli Arabs, those who chose to stay in Israel, along with all of their subsequent generations, whether Muslim, Christian, Druze or Bedouins, all have the exact same rights as the Jews in Israel, rights never afforded Arab Jews under Muslim colonial rule.

The Palestinians have been offered a state five times. -Rejection #1:
1936: In the initial suggested split the British offered the Arabs 80% of the disputed territory, the Jews the remaining 20%. Despite the tiny size of their proposed state, the Jews voted to accept this offer. But the Arabs rejected it and resumed their violent rebellion. -Rejection #2:
1947: The British asked the United Nations to find a new solution to the continuing tensions. The UN agreed that the best way to resolve the conflict was to divide the land and in November 1947, they voted to create two states. Again, the Jews accepted the offer and again, the Arabs rejected it. Only this time, they did so by launching an all-out war. Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria joined the conflict. But they failed. Israel won the war and got on with the business of building a new nation. Most of the land set aside by the UN for an Arab state, the West Bank and Gaza, became occupied territory. Occupied not by Israel, but by Jordan and Egypt. -Rejection #3:
1967: The Arabs, led this time by Egypt and joined by Syria and Jordan, once again sought to destroy the Jewish state. The 1967 conflict, known as the Six-Day War, ended in another victory for Israel. Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as the area known as the Gaza Strip, fell into Israel’s hands. The government split over what to do with this new territory. Half wanted to return the West Bank to Jordan and Gaza to Egypt in exchange for peace. The other half wanted to give it to the region’s Arabs, who had begun referring to themselves as the Palestinians, in the hope that they would build their own state there. Neither initiative got very far. A few months later, the Arab League met in Sudan and issued its infamous three-NOs, no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel. Again, a two-state solution was dismissed by the Arabs. -Rejection #4:
2000: Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak met at Camp David, with PLO Chairman Nasser Arafat, to conclude a new 2-state plan. Barak offered Arafat a Palestinian state in all of Gaza, and 94% of the West Bank, with East Jerusalem as its capital. But the Palestinian leader rejected the offer. In the words of U.S. President Bill Clinton, “Arafat was here 14 days and said no to everything.”
Instead, the Palestinians launched a bloody wave of suicide bombings that killed over 1,000 Israelis and maimed thousands more, on buses, in wedding halls, and in pizza parlors. -Rejection #5:
2008; Israel tried yet again. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert went even further than Ehud Barak had, expanding the peace offer to include additional land. Like his predecessor, the new Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, turned the deal down. Apparently 57 Muslim countries isn’t enough territory. They want the tiny 8-mile wide state of Israel as well, and Judenrein(free of all Jews) of course. Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have had their own parliament, schools, hospitals, universities, TV and radio stations, newspapers, and police force, running all aspects of their lives since 2005. Jews and Muslims have lived in the region for centuries, however, the only indigenous people from the region originally called “Judah” or “Israel”, more than 1,800 years before Arabs arrived, who are still in existence today, are the Jews and a few hundred Samaritans. Under Israeli law, all citizens. whether they’re Muslims, Christians, Bedouins, Druze, have exactly the same rights as Jewish Israelis, rights never afforded the 7 to 800,000 Jews forced to flee Arab lands. Arabic is an official language in Israel. Israeli Arabs are in the Knesset and have been since the first elections in 1949, they’re judges, on the Supreme Court, policemen, doctors, whatever they choose to be.
