@56:30, Dr. Carr just transitioned from the story of meeting Medgar Evers’ family at Arlington cemetery to the map posted by Misha Green that gave us a preview of what WOULD have been the second season of Lovecraft Country. When I tell you, I felt this man’s words in my spirit…whew chile! Come on thru wit it Dr. Carr!!! 👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿 There are no words to describe the passion of these two master teachers. How fortunate are we to be under the sound of their voices?? DAYUM!!!!

Dr. Greg Carr is such a gem 💎 I love to watch him do his thang. I'm so infinitely grateful for this education Professor Hunter. ❤ I pray Zaila Avant-Garde has a great village around her to shield her. She is getting a lot of national and international attention. I agree with Dr. Carr, she's still a child, not one of their "magical" black people.

Thank you Prof. Hunter and Dr. Carr for this very informative and up there as 'one of the best' "In Class With Dr. Carr"!! From the f/u history lesson on Haiti to Zaila Avant-Garde, "lil Miss child without limits" - Prof. Hunter!🙌🏾🙌🏾 Love me some NHJ and TNC! But, I'll take Prof. Hunter and Dr. Carr any day!! Thanks also for unknown (to me) stories of Mary McLeod Bethune! She was a proud to be Black woman!! My favorite quote of hers "The drums of Africa still beat in my heart. They will not let me rest while there is a single Negro boy or girl without a chance to prove his worth". It speaks volumes of who she was and how much value she placed on education!! You both ALWAYS bring ancestral history with you to Class and I love that immensely!! THANK you!!! BTW, Dr. Carr is a Jack-of-all trades, lol!!❤ it!!💯

ALWAYS blessed to be present for your conversations. Loved this. I read "The Destruction of Black Civilization" by Chancellor Williams way back. It's time for me to give my daughter some books to introduce her to those histories. Because I know about Dr. Carr's visionary org, ASCAC, and the many criticisms that have been leveled against Williams, I wonder what books Dr. Carr would recommend to tweens learning broadly about African histories and how those civilizations shaped the world. Would also be honored for a big stack of book recommendations from either of you (for ages 10-16?) :) The long struggle continues

I would encourage everyone read" My last will & Testament ", it is inspiring .My favorite quote is “ Our children must never lose their zeal for building a better world. They must not be discouraged from aspiring toward greatness, for they are to be the leaders of tomorrow. These words are a fitting tribute to Zaila Avant-garde,& Black youth every where. RIP Dr..
