Derrin is so emotionally sensitive - i imagine he doesn't attach to anyone, for fear of dissapointment. I mean fragile. He's very likeable. Super intelligent. Honest personality. Humble even. If you had a pet, that was not a human, you'd opt for a "Derrin personality"...because, you'd have the company without the volatility/aggression (hopefully).

You're utterly deranged. And you have clearly never in your life heard any radio or podcasts. They are partly supposed to make their voice clearly hearable and kind of monotone - and some are putting it on thickly, however this guy doesn't compared to anyone else. You're just one of the regular irrational assholes who make overly vague, unverifiable asshole statements in comments based on their warped perception and underdeveloped mind and character. You're just an animal "ecosystem" phenonemon, albeit a negative one.

Derren invented a lot of his own stuff... sure he got suggestions (which he is a master of) but maybe just maybe he actually did think most of the stuff he is doing with out that much help... Have a guest on and spend most of the time speaking yourself rather than letting your audience listen to the guest. Interrupt your guest, every answer, cutting him off to one word replies, then go back to to talking about yourself.

Not had one since leaving home when I was 18, no utility... 95% pure drivel and that 5% you can get online anyway. That said perhaps the interviewer is correct, it's no wonder I ended up with a head full of ThoughtCrime. Someone please think of the children! TVs keep families together! TV ratings just show how much people do not watch normal television anymore. A good example of the Tonight Show on NBC, during the Johnny Carson era of the 60s, 70s and 80s, nearly 20 million tuned in each night. In 2016, the current host Jimmy Fallon scrapes 3.5 million viewers. Prime time shows in Britain used to attract 15-20 million viewers in the 70s, today they are lucky to top 10 million at best, with the current UK season of X Factor down to around 6 million each week.

I only occasionally watch TV, most of it is trash. But I do spend far too much time online. I should spend more time with nature. I'm with Derren on the frog going horizontally from pad to pad, rather than grasping for the vertical ladder, according to social convention, not our own open minds and happiness in the moment.

+troliolol lol He was probably tired from doing the stage shows. I do not know if this aired in the morning? If it was, I know Derren detests mornings and always said he did magic, so that he could work at nights and sleep in on mornings and not have to get up early.
